The answer is actually very simple. Just like people, every dog is different. Which means every dog learns a little different and will learn at a different pace. 
Balanced training gives us the tools and techniques we, as humans, need to successfully communicate with dog of various breeds, ages, temperaments, behavioral issues and more. There is as much power in a “Good Dog” as there is in “nope wrong, try again.”
